Liz grew up in West University and graduated from Lamar High School. Liz continued her studies at the University of Texas in Austin . During her time at UT, she met and married her husband, Rod Kelley , a fellow UT graduate. She and her husband, Rod E. Kelley, have three children. Liz joined Henry S. Miller in 1985 which later merged with Coldwell Banker United. She loves this wonderful city and takes pleasure in introducing people to Houston. Liz enjoys her work and especially helping people find the right home and good schools for their children. In addition, she guides them to the great shopping we have here. She also introduces them to the great institutions of"> Houston : the Medical Center , the many Museums, the Zoo, the Symphony, Opera, Theater and Ballet, our sports teams and the many and varied fine restaurants. This truly is a warm and friendly city. Despite our warm climate, we have so much to offer virtually every one of all ages," says Liz.
Liz� family has always been involved in the community. As a result, Liz was involved in community affairs from a very young age. �I am grateful for the success that we all share in on" Houston �, she says. Her involvement took a personal turn when her son, Sean, was diagnosed with Leukemia in 1976. She became active in parent groups and went to Dr. Donald Fernbach with a fundraising idea that eventually became the Ronald McDonald House. Liz, Don Mullins and Dr. Fernbach co-founded the house in 1978. Liz has remained active in the charity and has witnessed its progression from a dream to the construction of one house and then a second, newer house; additionally, the charity has been raising funds for the Texas Children�s Cancer and Texas Children�s Hospital.
Liz is also active in Houston Junior Woman�s Club, Delta Gamma Alumni, Greater Katy Pan-Hellenic, The Delta Delta Delta Mothers Club, and the Periwinkle Foundation. She and her husband are Lifetime Members of Texas EXES and the Longhorn Foundation. Her son Sean is a cancer survivor and a successful businessman. Her son Patrick is a Pediatric Plastic Surgeon. Her daughter Shannon is a Pediatrician with a private practice in Houston As a professional Realtor,
